A Golden Leaf .com Recipe of the month for Christmas

Every month we will be featuring a seasonal free Recipe.

This is one of our family favorites.

          Cranberry Christmas Cake

3 - tbsp butter

1 - cup sugar

2 - cup flour

1 - cup milk

3 - tsp baking powder

 ¼ - tsp salt

 3 - cup cranberries

Mix together all ingredients except cranberries. 

Fold in cranberries spread batter evenly in a greased

9”x 9”square pan or a bunt round pan if you double the recipe.

Bake 35 to 40 minutes in a moderate oven 350 degrees.

 Serve warm with butter sauce.

Butter Sauce

1 - cup sugar

1 - tbsp flour

½ - cup butter

½ - cup cream

1 - tbsp vinegar

1 - tsp vanilla

Mix flour and sugar.

Place all ingredients except vanilla in a sauce pan.

 Heat mixing well over high heat until hot and bubbly.

Add vanilla serve over warm cranberry cake.

8 to 12 servings depending on the size of your serving.
